Our passenger excursions are also powered by one of our two World War II era diesel-electric locomotives,which are also used weekly in our freight operations. Both engines were built by General Electric at their locomotive facility in Erie, PA. The 44-ton centercab No111 was built in 1947 and delivered new to the Arcade & Attica Railroad. No112 was built in 1945 and delivered to the United States Navy. The A&A purchased the engine from the City of Colorado Springs Railroad in 1988 to supplement the ailing engine No111. Today, No111 has been returned to full operation.

TICKET AND RESERVATION INFORMATION
PLEASE NOTE:"FINAL BOARDING" is 15 minutes prior to departure for all excursions. The ticket office "CLOSES" at this time. 11:45 for 12 noon departures and 2:45 for 3 pm departures. RESERVED TICKETS not picked up by final boarding times will be forfeited.

All regular and special train rides have affordable beverages, snacks, and souvenirs available for purchase on the train and at the Arcade Station. "General George's Famous Hot Dogs", hot spiced cider,cold cider and fresh made doughnuts are available during our fall runs at our half way stop. By purchasing your snacks here, we are able to keep ticket prices low. Please note: No coolers are allowed in the station or on board the train.
PLEASE NOTE: We do accept credit cards for ticket purchases, however our "on board" concessions, snack bar and souvenir shop operate on a "cash only" basis.
Restrooms available at Arcade Station - Portable Facilities available at Curriers Depot.
Our Steam locomotive burns soft coal. Occasionally cinders and sooty water may spray from the smoke stack and soil clothing. The Arcade & Attica Railroad does not assume any responsibility for soiled clothing.
We reserve the right to alter schedules and substitute motive power as operating circumstances warrant. |

TWO HR. ROUND TRIP TO CURRIERS DEPOT AND BACK. This train does not travel to Attica!
All General Admission Tickets are $15.00 per person.
All Tickets sold by the seat ( 1 yr - 100+ yrs.) Babies (infant carrier size) may sit on a parent's lap free of charge.
Group Rates: (Purchased as a single group of 20 persons or more): $1 off every ticket

When purchasing regular ride tickets at the station, we gladly accept Cash, Personal Checks (with identification) as well as MasterCard,Visa & Discover.
Purchasing Pre-Paid Tickets
OFFICE HOURS: Mon.-Thurs 9 am - 4 pm for passenger reservations.
Pre-paid reservations will not be taken for any regularly scheduled runs. Ample seating available.
We have a limited number of wheelchair spots available in our coaches. Pre-paid reservations must be made for anyone requiring wheelchair assistance. Please be courteous to our other passengers and arrive at least 1/2 hr. before final boarding as wheelchair assistance requires extra time and manpower.
Pre-paid reservations are taken only for special events, group trips of 20 or more passengers, fall excursions, wheelchair assistance and birthday parties.
Pre-paid reservations for "special events" and Fall Foliage Excursions may be made Mondays through Thursdays from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. After this point any remaining tickets will be sold on a first come-first serve basis at our ticket window. No pre-paid reservations will be taken weekends while trains are in operation.
ALL special events( Christmas Train, Suspense Dinner Theater, Wine Taster, Halloween etc.) require pre-paid reservations.

5. Date & time of desired train ride.
If the train is a special event, please consider having an alternate date/time in case your preferred train is full.
6. Number of tickets wanted.
A reservation is considered to be valid when tickets are paid for in full. Reservations may be paid by personal check however the reservation will not be considered valid until the check has cleared.

All tickets are sold on a "WILL CALL" basis and must be picked up the day of the ride at the Arcade Station. Please plan on arriving at least 45 minutes prior to departure.Final boarding is 15 min. prior to departure and all tickets must be picked up by this time or they will be forfeited. Please make note of the date & time of your ride as no confirmations will be mailed. If you misplace your info you can always call the station to double check (585)492-3100. |
